    Description
    Offered today is a pair of fine quality vintage handcrafted sterling silver natural turquoise Southwestern style (possibly Native American-made) stud - post 1970's earrings. The woman who owned these traveled around the USA (and actually traveled the world as well), and bought jewelry in almost every place she visited. This particular pair is unsigned and they are only marked 925 for sterling silver.  The backers are not original (nor sterling) but they work well with the large earrings.
    These big earrings will definitely be noticed--large, but not super heavy so as to be cumbersome!  They are slightly asymmetrical with a nice big turquoise cabochon measuring 16.3 x 12.5 mm bezel set in the upper portion of each earring, with a raised dot pattern encircling the turquoise.  The turquoise are a gorgeous color with slight caramel matrix within the vibrant stones. I have left these with their orignal vintage patina--the new owner can polish them if he/she wishes to do so.
    These beautiful earrings measure 1.25" top to bottom by 1" side to side.  They are marked 925 and weigh 11.5 grams.  They are in excellent vintage condition.
