    Offered from my personal collection: this is a Mount Vernon Bach #7C cornet mouthpiece. Probably made in the mid to late 1950's. Overall excellent condition. The plating is completely intact. Various scuffs and marks from normal use, mainly on the shank.
    It plays with a bright colorful tone. And very responsive. There is something different about these vintage mouthpieces that makes them so desirable. It must be in the metal.
