Vintage  Frances Kuyper Cake Lady ~ How to Airbrush Portraits Patterns Stencils Book
Known as the Cake Lady, Frances started off in 1950 simply as a self-taught cake decorator and from there evolved into a writer, demonstrator, instructor and consultant for many years in the retail baking industry.  She's even appeared in commercials and was even a regular on the Howie Mandel show for a time.
She was known fotr her pioneering use of the airbrush for cake decorating.  She was the first to airbrush a cake without blowing holes in the frosting.She was known for her patience and expertise at teaching others her techniques
.
I was fortunate to know her and take many of her cake decorating classes at her home in Pasadena.
Book has only been looked at....I never learned to airbrush, but loved seeing her finished products and portraits of the stars!
